Dr. Kate's Housecalls for Dogs & Cats is a house call-only veterinary practice serving Greater Portland, Maine. Dr. Kate specializes in Integrative Medicine, which is an emerging field in the veterinary profession. Integrative medicine draws upon the strengths of both Western and Eastern Medicines, using them synergistically to provide the greatest benefit to the patient.   

Dr. Kate provides nearly all of the routine services a traditional veterinary clinic, such as diagnostic testing, immunizations, parasite prevention, etc. Dr. Kate also offers acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese TuiNa massage, custom nutritional supplement formulations, and dietary therapy.     

Each patient receives a thorough Eastern and Western examination, diet consultation, lifestyle review, and a full set of written recommendations.
